ALL PINATAS · PRACTICAL GUIDE
Plan the party before you order
Build an order brief with the details a maker needs: event date, opening method, size, budget and delivery expectations.
Work backward from your event
Write down the event date and the date you need the piñata in your hands. Ask the maker to separate production time, dispatch date and expected arrival. A dispatch date is when a parcel leaves; it is not an arrival promise. Leave room for reviewing the design, confirming details and resolving a delayed parcel. Ask the maker what buffer fits the actual design and service rather than assuming every order takes the same number of days.
Agree on the scope
Confirm dimensions, opening style, usable fill space, hanging instructions, decorations and whether candy is included. Say which design details are essential and which can change. A photo approval can settle colors and spelling, but it does not verify structural performance. Ask how changes after approval affect cost and timing.
Pickup or delivery
For pickup, confirm the location privately, the collection window and whether the finished piece fits your vehicle. For delivery, confirm the packed dimensions, destination ZIP, tracking arrangement and what happens if the parcel arrives damaged. Save photos of the packaging and contact the seller promptly about a problem. Do not discard the box until the issue is resolved.
Before you accept a quote
Review item price, customization, shipping, tax, payment schedule, cancellation terms and the design approval step. Keep the agreed brief with the quote. If your event changes, ask for a revised agreement rather than assuming the old schedule still applies. All Pinatas currently supports planning; paid marketplace checkout is not connected.
